He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Heinrich and Lena Heinrich; and his siblings, Ed Heinrich, Violet Voller and Ruby Wharton.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Heinrich; his siblings, Emma Ogdahl, Art Heinrich (Lois Heinrich) and June Busse (Leonard Busse); and his children, Cindy Brooks (Doug Woldt), Julie Kolstad (Eric Kolstad), Tom Heinrich (Shannon Heinrich), Casey Heinrich (Raiza Heinrich) and Michael Heinrich (Alex Heinrich). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home (632 St Francis St, Rapid City, SD 57701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hills View Evangelical Free Church (13776 Sturgis Rd, Piedmont, SD 57769).
