David LaFee Obituary
In loving memory of David LaFee of Rapid City, South Dakota, who departed this world on October 11, 2025 at the age of 82. David leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert LaFee and Blanche Parsons (King); his nephew Vernie Hackens; and his parents-in-law, Burle and Velma Dartt.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Dartt; his stepsons, Mark Van Vleck (Cindy) of Rapid City and Charles Van Vleck of Philip; his grandchildren, David Van Vleck (Casey) of Summerset, Ganeva Van Vleck of Rapid City, Erica Cortez (John) of Portland and Jonathan Aleman of Corpus Christi, Texas; his great grandchildren, Westin Van Vleck, John, Daniel, Elicia and Desiree Cortez; and his sisters, Barbara Hackens (Monty) of Johnson Siding, Ruth Butters (Jerry) of Colorado and Beth Parsons of Philip. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM.
