He was predeceased by: his mother Dolores Rempel; and his siblings, Patricia Rempel and Don Rempel. He is survived by: his father Leland Rempel; his wife Patti Rempel (Martin); his children, Lee Rempel (Amy), Anne Herb (Brad) and Jenne Stensland (Craig); his grandchildren, Andrew, Isaiah, Alice, Tegan and Keziah; and his sister Carol Rempel Simmons.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Hills View Evangelical Free Church (13776 Sturgis Rd, Piedmont, SD 57769). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
