With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dick James Houser of Rapid City, South Dakota, born in Battle Creek, Iowa, who passed away on April 26, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Houser and Elsie Houser (Hamann); his wife Sally Houser; his brother DeWayne Houser (Dorothy); and his nephew Steve Houser.
He is survived by: his former wife Cheryl Stainbrook; his children, Christopher Houser (Andrea) of Scottsdale, AZ and Kristina Houser of Brandon, SD; his grandchildren, Cian Houser, Lola Houser, Julian Albanil, Kayla Houser, Jayden Houser-Mertz and Kavan Mertz; his great grandchild Ella Houser; his nieces, Doreen Booth (Brian) and Rebecca Smith; and his former wife Cheryl Austin.
