He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Tech and Christine Tech (Gutknecht); his wife Mary Blair Tech; his son James; and the parents of child, Elmer and Christine Tech.
He is survived by: his children, Anita Marler (Dan), Judy Tech (Roger Bohnhoff), Bob Tech (Deb) and Dale Tech (Shelley); his grandchildren, Amy Berke (Steve), Julie Kallenberger (Bryan) and Grayson Tech; his great grandchild Caleb Marler; and his great great grandchildren, Alayna and Carson Marler.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established at Trinity Lutheran Church.
