We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2022, at the age of 91, Donald W. Holliday of Rapid City, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald E. Holliday and Olga Holliday (Kornmann); his wife Betty; his brothers, Bob Holliday and Larry Holliday; and his siblings-in-law, Ann Kostel, Kathleen and Augie Puccinelli.
He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Jane, Beth, Tom and Kay; his grandchildren, Abbie Lockwood (Jane), Callie, Grant, Megan Woody (Beth Woody), Tyler, Caitlin Holliday, Karsten and Tove Kopperstad; his great grandchildren, Kayden, Liv, Kingston Holliday and Finn Burson; his children, Jane Lockwood (David) of Spearfish, SD, Beth Woody of Missoula, MT, Tom Holliday (Debbie) of Gilbert, AZ and Kay Kopperstad (Perry) of Stavanger, Norway; and his siblings-in-law, June Holliday of Alma Center, WI and Jack Kostel of Portland, OR. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial may be given to the South Dakota State University Foundation or South Dakota National Guard Museum.
