He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen "Billie" Haug and Samuel "Sam" Haug; his sister Valerie Ann; his uncle Mel Meekins; his wife Doris Evon Ross (Ross); his children, Kurt Allyn Haug, Vance Eric Haug, Jordan (Ashley), Kourtney (Adam), Bethany (Shoshana), Emily (Louie), Nathan (Christine), Bretton (Madeline), Dustyn (Becca), Kason, Christian, Heather (Rachel), Kaitlyn and Zac; his great grandchildren, Kimball, Addisyn, Silas, Thiago, Rylie, Emilio, Avery and Olive; his sister Barbara Joyce; his grandparents, Lee and Noel Meekins; and his sister Valerie Gallof. He was also cherished by numerous other family members and dear friends.
