He was predeceased by : his parents, Stanley Bissenden and Scena Bissenden (Jones); his siblings, Art Bissenden (Helen), Peggie Halvorson (Archie) and Betty Lanouette (Wally); and his daughter Nanci Jane.

He is survived by : his wife Lorene McManus (Mikolash); his son Prof. Jeffrey McManus (Janet); his granddaughter Morganne McManus; his daughters, Nora Veit and Crystal England (John); his brother-in-law David Fuller (Betty); and his nephew Sam Dyer. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
