He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur W. Rasmusson and Eva M. Rasmusson (Slater); his sister Roberta Thompson; his nephew Craig Thompson; his parents-in-law, Henry and Jean Fricke; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Thompson and Craig Fricke.
He is survived by: his wife Dot (Dot); his children, Erica Collins (Jacob) and Kyle Rasmusson (Dana); his grandchildren, Caleb, Colton, Christian, Malia, Amara and Connor; his nieces and nephews, Kevin Thompson, Rick Thompson (Mary Jo), Jason Minnick (Becky), Jeff Minnick (Kathy), Kim Schneider (Chuck) and Tara Minnick; and his siblings-in-law, Tracy Fritzler (Gary) and John Fricke.
A memorial has been established to the youth ministry of South Canyon Lutheran Church.
