He was predeceased by: his parents, Waino Salmen and Vieno Salmen. He is survived by: his children, Vivian Marben (David) of Eden Prairie, MN, Vicky Kalahar of Woodbury, MN, Gayle Cutshall (Steve), Cheryl Hofer, Rhonda Mumm, Wayne Salmen (Dotty) and Sandy Shillingstad (Paul); his sister Carol (Dick); and his sister-in-law Elsie Salmen of Minnesota. He is also survived by extended family. 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
