She was predeceased by: her parents, Susie Keester and Ray Keester; her son Daniel Hern; and her sisters, Bernice Maggard, Katie Solid and Elina Jimenez.
She is survived by: her husband Dan Hern; her brothers, Gilbert Keester, Henry Keester and Arthur Keester; and her children, Kathleen Rexroad, Bruce Hern, Jeffery Hern and Brian Hern. She is also survived by Eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
