He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest Carlson (Wes) and Delores Carlson (Dee); his children, Ryan Carlson (Laura) and Nikol Handeland; his grandchildren, Hadley Carlson, Britt Carlson and Gracyn Handeland; his great grandchild Wrigley Gannon; and his grandparents, Ernest, Marie Carlson, Clint and Bertha Mohror.
A burial will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Arlington City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Eidsness Funeral Home (1617 Orchard Dr, Brookings, SD 57006). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
