In the sacred silence of farewell, James Craig is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that James Craig's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gean Layng and Betty Layng (Berry); his wife Kathy; and his son Dalton. He is survived by: his children, Terry, Lee and Jamie; his siblings, Ed, Randy and Kelly; and his nieces, Kendra and Kara.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cross Roads Wesleyan Church (1823 Sheridan Lake Rd, Rapid City, SD 57702). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Pine Lawn Memorial Park (4301 Tower Rd, Rapid City, SD 57701).
