He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Ella (Ahlers) and Clarence Edward Hagel; his brother Hugh Richard Hagel; and his great grandchild Emily Layne Fraser. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Hagel (Menholt); his daughter Laurie Nissen (John); his granddaughters, Ashley Fraser (Pat), Amanda Pratt (Neil) and Angie Nissen; and his great grandchildren, Jayden, Riley, Landon, Kaden Fraser, Logan, Austin and Emmitt Pratt.
