He was predeceased by: his mother Esther Margaret Hoff (Bertelsen); his wife Miriam Grace "Mim" Hoff; and his father Edwin "Doc" Henry Hoff. He is survived by: his son Christopher Hoff (Jo); his grandchildren, Connor and Brynna "Maire"; his siblings, Kay Paschke (Marvin) and Tyler Hoff (Bob Firestone); and his sister-in-law Joyce Bruce (Dale). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fidler-Isburg Funeral Chapels (450 N 7th St, Spearfish, SD 57783). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (111 S Main St, Lead, SD 57754). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the West Lead Masonic Cemetery.
A memorial has been established to benefit United Methodist Camping.
