It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanette Ruth Thorstenson of Rapid City, South Dakota, who passed away on June 13, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Staufer and Hilda Staufer; her husband Bud Thorstenson; her siblings, Harley Staufer and Joyce Baker; and her son Mark McGough.
She is survived by: her sister Jane Samuelson (Don); her children, Allan McGough (Wina), Patrick McGough (Betty), Karen Vidal (Patrick), Jeff McGough, Joan McGough and Mary Gill (Brian); her stepchildren, Linda Sietsema (Larry), Janet Ronneberg (Ron), Marie Thorsten and Paul Thorstenson; and her grandchildren, Melissa Hennings (Scott), Mike Bradshaw (Mikayla), Michaela Bradshaw (Eric), Matthew Vidal, Joshua Long, Dustin McGough, Shannon Church (Cory), Mindy Ugland and Brittany Malott (Seth). She is also survived by many step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
