It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeavene Marie Running Shield (Rapid City, South Dakota), who passed away on July 4, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brothers, Jim and David. She is survived by: her husband Louis Running Shield Jr.; her children, Louis "Yamni" Running Shield III, Antonio "Tony" Running Shield, Betsy Lucille Running Shield and Lorraine Prairie Chicken; and her siblings, Charles Rencountre, Roy Rencountre, Francis Rencountre and Adele Dougherty. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and many other relatives and friends.
