With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jessie Porter of Rapid City, South Dakota, who passed away on September 2, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Carl Cochran; her brother Johnny; and her former husband Leonard L. Gering. She is survived by: her siblings, Allen, Ella and Faye; her children, Karen Mauller (Jimmie) and Larry Gering (Tasha); her grandchildren, Darlene Johnson (Brian), Ashley Gering, Danielle Gering, Allie Gering and Jordyn Gering; and her great grandchildren, Ryan Shultz (Jenna), Jacob Johnson, Jessilynn Johnson, Ky Riestra, Zayden Gering, Ahlias Gering, Jaylah Gering and Avalynn Gering.
