Joann H. Gaffaney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joann H. Gaffaney of Rapid City, South Dakota, who passed away on June 16, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, F. C. Gaffaney and Mary Gaffaney (Flannery); her brother Dean; and her sons, Paul and John.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Ellen; her former husband Dick Myers; her husband Joe Beardsley; her son Michael; and her daughters-in-law, Cindy Myers and Lola King. She is also survived by four granddaughters.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church (717 Quincy St, Rapid City, SD 57701). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Emmanuel Episcopal Church, West Hills Village Foundation, or the Humane Society.
