She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Whitman and Madeline Whitman (Shummer); her son Larry Ackerman; her sister Gloria; and her niece Denise.
She is survived by : her daughter Carrie Ackerman (Bill Stickney); her pet Bella; her cousins, Bob Whitman (Mabel), DeWayne Hayes (Diana), Margaret Hayes and Joey Hayes; and her brother-in-law Ivan Montgomery.
