Maria Ann Eagle Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Ann Eagle (Rapid City, South Dakota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Holy Eagle (Silva) and Catherine Holy Eagle (Brings); her daughter Leticia B. Vargas; her grandson Jasiah Vargas; her children, Vaughn J. Vargas and Ann M. Hart; and her sisters, Elaine Holy Eagle and Dixie Holy Eagle.
She is survived by: her son F. Joel Hart; her significant other Juan Vargas; her siblings, Sonia Holy Eagle and Dino Holy Eagle; her children, Tada R. Vargas (Shawn Garnette) and Justin J. Vargas; and her grandchild Chaske J. White Feather.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home (632 St Francis St, Rapid City, SD 57701).
