He was predeceased by: his sister Rita Carey; and his parents, Eugene and Beverly. He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia Wanner, Barb Cotton, Marlys Wolf, Steve Murphy and Kevin Murphy; his wife Colleen Potts of Rapid City, SD; his children, Carrie Sandhoff (Brian) of Denver, CO and Tim Murphy (Stephanie) of Mitchell, SD; his grandchildren, Bobby Werner, Madison Murphy, Macie Murphy, Anna Sandhoff and Lily Sandhoff; and his stepgrandchildren, Jocelyn, Madeline and Mya Vogel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
