He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lawrence Wald of Aberdeen, Carolyn Hilton of Rapid City, James Hilton of Rapid City and Joann Hilton of Rapid City; and his cousin Jacob Wald of Aberdeen.
He is survived by: his parents, Stephen Wald and Cynthia Wald (Hilton) of Rapid City; his daughter Skylar Ann Wald (Cassidy Downen); his wife Katie Wald; his children, Hunter and Gwyndolyn Wald of Rapid City; his brother Zach (Jacki) of Florida; his grandparents, Bernice Wald of Aberdeen and Charles Clark of Rapid City; his parents-in-law, Bill and Carol Cook of Rapid City; his sister-in-law Abby Gillick (Keith) of New York; and his sibling's children, Declan, Zander Wald of Florida, Rowan Cook of Rapid City, Eliana, Zoe Gillick of New York and Kaya Cook of Rapid City. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
