He is survived by: his wife Karen Smith (Burnison); his children, Teresa Schultz, Sean Schultz, Jennifer Qualls (Andrew), Raynor Smith (Shannon) and Kirstin Stauffacher (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Victoria Smith, Katelyn Qualls, Fisher Qualls, Kamryn Stauffacher and Addyson Stauffacher; and his great grandchild Noe Ezekiel Gonzalez III. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Michael continues to give back as his body will be donated to the University of South Dakota, School of Medicine to help teach the future medical professionals.
