It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Ann Schoessler in Rapid City, South Dakota, who passed away on November 23, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy MacDuffee and Cynthia MacDuffee (Griswold); her brother Richard; her husband Roy; her son Dan; her grandson Michael Hahn; her sister Margie Kenefick (Paul); her nephew Tim Kenefick; her brother-in-law Robert Peterson; her nephew Jeff Peterson; and her great-niece Bobbi Williamson.
She is survived by: her children, Christie Maland (Randy), Dave Hahn (Lynda), Bill Hahn (Cindy) and Doug Schoessler (Andrea); her grandchildren, Jesse Maland (Dawn), Darcy Brady (Bill), Shane Maland (Kelly), Anna Ernst (Nate), Bill Hahn (Alissa), Alyssa Herman (Ethan), Mike Merritt, Matt Merritt, Colton Merritt, Casey Hahn (Tatum), Alaina Yarbrough (Chris) and Taylor Murray (Jesse); and her friends, Robert Wallum and Lonnie Gibson. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
She recently wrote this verse in her notebook: "Weeping may endure for the night, but joy cometh in the morning." (Psalm 30:5) Our precious Mom is now experiencing joy!In lieu of flowers, please put out wild bird seed, support the Humane Society, the Rescue Mission, or a Bible distribution program.
