He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Handshue and Margery Handshue. He is survived by: his wife Dawn Anderson of Rapid City, SD; and his children, David of Ft Knox, KY, Alayna Krsnak (Jeff) of Minneapolis, MN, Robin Bome (Bryan) of Encinitas, CA and Megan (Rowan).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Journey Church (1981 Centre St, Rapid City, SD 57703). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Black Hills National Cemetery (20901 Pleasant Valley Dr, Sturgis, SD 57785).
