He was predeceased by: his brother Randy Shacklett; and his uncle Harold "Bussy" Oliver. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Shacklett (Thelen); his children, Jennifer Shacklett, Dillon Shacklett (Kristin Schlamp) and Rick; his grandchildren, Abigail Shacklett and Noah Shacklett Petek; and his brothers, Rex (Koann) and Russel Shacklett (Rayetta Johnson).
