“To the Wallingford Family and Friends, Riley was one of the first members of Charlie Co. C 1-11th (US Army-Vietnam) that I located when I began the search for men who served with my cousin, Capt. Barry Buckley. I was honored to meet him and spend some time with him at reunions of the 5th Division. He was a gentle, sweet, intelligent man I grew to respect. May he rest in peace and may he raise a glass with his comrades of Charlie Company now and forever. Jeanne McDermott (locator Charlie Co.)”
