He is survived by: his siblings, Judy Rathke (Gary) of Rapid City and Jerry Laird (Lynne) of Rapid City; his nephews, Chris Carlson of Los Angeles, CA, Michael Rathke, Jacob Laird (Lacy) of Summerset, SD and Jordan Laird (Amanda) of Shoreview, MN; and his niece Rebekah Rathke of St. Paul, MN.
A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the White River Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Senior Citizens Building.
In lieu of flowers, any memorials can be made to the White River School sports programs.
