Rosemary Sayers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2025, at the age of 95, Rosemary Sayers (Rapid City, South Dakota) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rosemary Sayers to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Williams and Stella Williams; and her brothers, Ward and John Williams. She is survived by: her children, Nick Alther of Rapid City, SD, Kathy Alther Erickson (Bob) of Longview, WA, Guy Alther (Shirley) of Omaha, NE, Dorothy Alther Radoff (Mark) of Poway, CA and Tina Sayers Klepfer (Steve) of The Colony, TX; her sister Linda Westover of Phoenix, AZ; and her sister-in-law Diane Williams of Vermillion, SD. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church (221 Knollwood Dr, Rapid City, SD 57701). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to One Spirit, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating sustainable solutions for the Lakota people of the Pine Ridge Reservation, http://www.onespiritlakota.org or The Pine Ridge Girls' School, http://www.pineridgegirlsschool.org, an all-girls school providing an academically rigorous college-prep education, immersed in Lakota culture, language, and values.
