With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Scotty McLaren of Rapid City, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 5, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Scotty shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Scotty farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman L. McLaren and Cathryn A. McLaren (Bentley); his wife Karla Saunders; and his siblings, Earl, Robert McLaren (Carol) and Norma Cantrell.
He is survived by: his daughter Danna Gummo of Arizona; his grandson Brett Gummo; and his siblings, Wayne McLaren of Eagle River, Alaska, Cathryn Stilson of Flint and Shirley Lundy of Durand, Michigan. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
