He is survived by : his close friend Krista Freytag; and his siblings, Chino Caekaert of Rapid City, SD, Thain Caekaert of Englewood, CO, Alanna Turnbaugh of Rapid City, SD, Tina Caekaert of Denver, CO and Tanya Stockham of Brighton, CO. He is also survived by 4 nephews and 3 nieces.
