He is survived by: his children, Gabriel Sheldon, David Clare of Ypsilanti, MI, Laurence Sheldon of Jackson, MI, Juniper Mitchell and Sheldon of Fort Collins, CO.; his stepchildren, Kelan Timm, Aliyah Johnson, Tyra Johnson, Paige Johnson and Olivia K. Lewis of Rapid City; his mother Sandra; his siblings, Timothy Sheldon (Mari) of Rapid City, Tracy Gamboe (Donald) of Ypsilanti and Lauren Altenbernt of Ypsilanti; his niece Amanda Grenier (Matt); his great-niece Ella; his great-nephew Everett of Rapid City; his nephews, Garrett Sheldon (Kara) of Powell, WY, Aaron and Craig Gamboe of Ypsilanti; and his friend Dane Kirby of Ann Arbor, MI.
Stephen's final act of generosity came through organ donation, a fitting reflection of his lifelong desire to help others.
