With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Tara LeeAnn Kozak of Rapid City, South Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Tara left this world on December 4, 2025 at the age of 42, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Owen Emme, Robert and Lavonne Sartorius; and her father-in-law Stan Kozak Sr.. She is survived by: her parents, Wayne Sartorius and Jenneye Sartorius (Emme); her husband Stan Kozak; her son Toby Alexander; her grandmother Lee Ann Emme; her siblings, Serena Weich (Jeremy) and Tyler Sartorius (Jamie); her sister-in-law Kathy Crabtree (Mike); and her siblings' children, Owen, Olivia, Oakley, Blythe, Cruz and Ziggy. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Canyon Lake Resort (Old Chophouse) (4510 Shore Dr, Rapid City, SD 57702).
