It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Theresa V. Christensen of Rapid City, South Dakota, who passed away on May 11, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antone Bauernfeind (Tony) and Verle Bauernfeind; her husband Howard Christensen; her daughter Renae Merriman; and her stepson Danny Christensen.
She is survived by: her siblings, Cora Hoskins (Ken) of Ohio, Ilene Wear (Lloyd) of Washington, Doris Koskela (Ralph) of Nebraska, Russell Bauernfeind (Peggy) of Spearfish and Glen Bauernfeind of Spearfish; and her children, Cindy Wilson (Dennis) of Wyoming, Darol Merriman (Yvonne) of Minnesota, Glenda Johnson (Don) of New Mexico, Todd Merriman of Rapid City, Troy Christensen of Rapid City and Crystal Klabunde (Scott) of Rapid City. She is also survived by 6 Stepchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the American Legion Post 22 (818 E Saint Patrick St, Rapid City, SD 57701).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of the Black Hills.
