He is survived by: his son Cody Taylor Ficken (Audra) of Hot Springs, SD; his wife Risë Ficken of Rapid City, SD; his siblings, Doug Ficken (Kim) of Rapid City, SD and Pam Parrish (Sam) of Anchorage, AK; and his nephews, Brad Ficken (Kelsie), Steven Ficken (Cortney), Kevin Ficken (Alyssa), Matthew Gervais and Jason Gervais. He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Viewing was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home (2700 Jackson Blvd, Rapid City, SD 57702). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
