He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Tolle and Cecil Tolle; and his daughter Carol Howell. He is also survived by one sister, two brothers, three kids, several grandkids.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM at the Funeral Kirk Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1051 E Minnesota St, Rapid City, SD 57701). A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Black Hills National Cemetery (20901 Pleasant Valley Dr, Sturgis, SD 57785).
