He is survived by: his mother Donna Schmidt (Thies) of Roscoe; and his siblings, Loren Schmidt, Joe Schmidt (Wendy) of Roscoe, Duane Schmidt of Bismarck, ND, Carol Geditz of Selby, SD and Kathy Crackel of Rapid City, SD. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews; 16 great nieces and nephews; and one great, great niece.
