With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Herbert Stellmacher of Redfield, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 23, 2025 at the age of 97. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhold Stellmacher and Sophie Stellmacher (Witte); his spouse Shirley Schroeder; and his siblings, Erwin, Erich Stellmacher and Elsie Feistner.
He is survived by: his children, Gene Stellmacher (Karlene) of Tulare, Judy Wagner (Rick) of Tulare and Janice Robinson (Timothy) of Shawnee, KS.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. A prayer will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Hyke Funeral Home (101 E 7th Ave, Redfield, SD 57469). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Redfield - Our Savior's Lutheran Church (1514 E 1st St, Redfield, SD 57469).
