He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert O'Daniel and Flora O'Daniel (Bymers); his wife Yvonne Galvin; his daughter Mary Beth O'Daniel; his sister Mae Decker; and his great grandchild Oliver John O'Daniel.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff O'Daniel (Kay) of Redfield and Mike O'Daniel (Debbie) of Athol; his granddaughter Heather Roach (Landon); his great grandchildren, Kyleigh, Lennyx, Alyvia, Phynlee, Layton and Rayna; his grandson Jason O'Daniel (Tifani); his great grandchildren, Paige, Deklyn and Davyna; his grandson David O'Daniel (Casi); his great grandchildren, Kiara and Tristen; his grandson Joel O'Daniel (Megan); his great grandchildren, Beckett and Fiona; his granddaughter Sara O'Daniel; and his great grandchildren, Savannah and Cassidy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hyke Funeral Home (101 E 7th Ave, Redfield, SD 57469). A prayer was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at the After the Funeral Service.
