It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Solheim of Redfield, South Dakota, who passed away on November 4, 2023, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Jakob Solheim and Silla Solheim (Solheim); his former life partner Alma Sauherage; his spouse Vanetta Flatten; his brother Art Solheim; his son-in-law Jay Simpson; his stepson-in-law Jim Bjerke; and his stepson Dennis Flatten.
He is survived by : his daughters, Linda Simpson and Pamela Solheim; his grandchildren, Sarah Hier (Greg) and Erin Simpson; his great grandchild Callie Wik; his sister-in-law Shirley Solheim; his stepchildren, Sharon Bjerke, Lannie Flatten (Donna) and Rick Flatten (Patsy); and also Pat Flatten.
