He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Rezek and Rose Rezek (Shehadi); his siblings, Nellie Wallace, George Rezek, Olga Dertien, Alexander Rezek, Amy Mosher, John Rezek, Ray Rezek, Alyce Baker (Cindy) and James Rezek; and his great grandchild Lucas Fast.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Rezek (Judy Karen) of Brookings, SD, Karen Harr (Charlie) of Zell, SD and Janet Mertz (Jim) of Loveland, CO; his grandchildren, Jayme Fast (Ben), Lindsay Erickson (Mitch), Joshua Mertz, Eric Karen and Ben Karen; his great grandchildren, Samuel and Claire Fast; his sister-in-law Merlynn Rezek; and his pet Pooper. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
