He was predeceased by : his parents, George Wienbar and Minnie Wienbar (Iverson); his wife Karen Asleson; and his siblings, Orval, Clarence, Robert (Wanda), Donald, Amos (Mildred), Earl Wienbar and Arlean Henryson (Walter).

He is survived by : his children, Bradley (Mary) of Iroquois, SD, Gregory (Laura) of Redfield and Kimberly Wienbar of Spearfish, SD; and his grandchildren, Mathew Wienbar (Rachel) of Beresford, SD, Annie Schaefer (Kevin) of Colman, SD, Leah Olson (Evan) of Madison, SD, Chad Jungwirth (Cassie) of Minneapolis, MN, Lindsey Costello (Jim) of Spearfish, Holly Lambert (James) of Redfield, LeAnne Bonin (Chris) of Redfield and Anthony Ehrich (Kelsey) of Redfield. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
