As Richard departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Richard. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hyke Funeral Home (101 E 7th Ave, Redfield, SD 57469). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Redfield Methodist Church (1326 W 1st St, Redfield, SD 57469). The military honors will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Rockham - Rockham Grace Cemetery.
