She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Elmer and Mabel Viola Maxfield (Hansen); her husband Jack; her sister Joan; her niece Anne; her granddaughter Jessica; and her great grandchild Eliyas.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Shaffer (Will Hansen), Paul Shaffer and Diane Perkins; her grandchildren, Jason, Kevin and Anna; and her sister Janice. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter.
