The memory of Jean Skaff of Salem, South Dakota, who passed away on November 14, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Schoeberl and Genevieve Schoeberl (Barrick); her husband Bob Skaff; her sister Paula Schoeberl-Cradle; and her siblings-in-law, Mike Skaff, Ed Even, Harland Kessler and Theresa Skaff.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Skaff (Robin) of Spokane, WA, Barb Skaff of Council Bluffs, IA, Brenda Rief (Don) of Missouri Valley, IA, Beth Skaff of Salem and Bonnie Stutsman (Dev) of Columbia Falls, MT; her grandchildren, Allison Flint (Bryce), Andrea Eichmann (Cody), Thomas Rief (Hannah), Madeline Stutsman, Ellie Stutsman, Kevin Pfister and Kelli Meerschaert (Matt); her great grandchildren, Shane Flint, Neeko Pfister, Jalen and Jackson Meerschaert; her sister Donna Even; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Kessler and Dan Skaff (Meagan).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (330 Idaho St, Salem, SD 57058). A prayer will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family will direct memorials in Jean's name.
