She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Merritt and Emma Merritt (Matthaei); her husbands, Forrest Rose and Donald Golden; her brothers, Clarence Merritt (Lois) and Earl Merritt; and her sisters-in-law, Joy, Jessie, Loella, Ada and Mary.
She is survived by: her extended family, Jeff, Jean Ordal and Sarah Oberg; and also, Don (Ellen), Christie (Grant), Samantha (Michelob), Tucker, Dakota, Adeline, Hudson, Waverly and Summit. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kinzley Funeral Home (500 N Main St, Salem, SD 57058). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Unite Church (432 N Main St, Salem, SD 57058).
