She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Hess and Laura Hess (Haase); her husband Floyd Muhmel; her brother John Hess; and her son-in-law Jeff Wiemers.
She is survived by: her children, Laurie Wiemers of Battle Creek and Brad Muhmel (Daniel Rodriguez) of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Ashley Beck (Travis), Alexandria Wiemers (Dalton Bergstrom), Taylor Wiemers (Alex Tucker), Stratton Muhmel (Caroline) and Brenton Muhmel (Robin); her great grandchildren, Paityn Phillips and Dawson Muhmel; and her brother James Hess (Karen).
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fellowship Baptist Church (751 Second St, Scotland, SD 57059). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at the Rosehill Cemetery.
