As Nancy departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Nancy. Though Nancy may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Nielsen and Nellie Nielsen (Rheiner); and her siblings, Jim Nielsen and Mary Mydler. She is survived by: her husband Gary Faulkner of Scotland; her sons, Scott of Scotland and Eric of Scotland; and her siblings, Andy Nielsen of Mission Hill, Kathy Highstreet of York, NE and Karen Thompson of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Scotland Community Church (350 Williams St, Scotland, SD 57059). A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
