He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Payne and Edith Payne (Margeson); his brother Dick Payne (Molly Mae); and his nephews, Rick and Dave Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Reuer; his children, Wade Payne (Judy) of Greenville, WI, Talli Raske (Jammie) of Pierre and Brett Payne (Amber) of Owasso, OK; his grandchildren, Billy Payne of Gage Payne, T. J, Ellie Payne, Macahl Raske, Maguire Raske, Xander Payne and Gabby Payne; and his nephew Scott Payne.
